|Danish Institute for Study Abroad||DIS is a Danish non-profit study abroad institution in Copenhagen with semester, academic year, and summer programs taught in English. DIS offers American students engaging and challenging coursework enriched by field studies, hands-on learning opportunities, and study tours in Denmark and across Europe. Cultural engagement opportunities integrate students into Danish culture and prepare them for a globalized world. DIS students are usually undergraduate juniors or seniors from highly selective US universities.|
|Operation Wallacea||Operation Wallacea is a biodiversity research and conservation management organization hosting scientific expeditions in Indonesia, Transylvania, South Africa, Madagascar, Peru, Guyana, Honduras and Mexico. These research sites are run in remote locations with the help of university volunteers and academics from around the world.|
|The Central Caribbean Marine Institute||CCMI and Rutgers University invite students to apply for our Coral Reef Internship program. Participants will learn about principles of tropical ecology, sustainability and management, through a combination of fieldwork and lecture series. Students will finally develop and conduct a field research project with a principal investigator relating to coral reef ecosystems in the Caribbean. These projects will be developed into a joint research poster that may be published or presented at a national or international conference. Students are also engaged in data collection as part of 15 years of active research by CCMI at one of the world’s most beautiful coral reef systems surrounding Little Cayman and the Bloody Bay Marine Park.|
