The following courses are available as options that biology majors may complete for credit toward graduation with a Biology degree. Please note that some courses are not taught in all years. Special notes:

For students who plan to pursue a graduate program that requires BIO 301 and 302 – Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II (e.g., Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant), only BIO 301 may count as a Biology Option, and BIO 302 (if needed) must be taken as an elective.

BIO 390, 393, 394, 399, 493, and 494 may be used in aggregate to count for no more than ONE Biology Option course unit, although course credits in addition to this can be applied as general electives toward the overall graduation requirement.
